I have been working lately to get better at CAD design so that I can build more sophisticated robots. One of the bigger challenges to building robots using CAD, is having a good library of symbols to use, that you can assemble together quickly to create new designs. I am working with other members of the Home Brew Robotics Club to create a re-usable library of robot CAD symbols. It is a tedious process of picking up common robot parts, measuring them using calipers, and modeling them using CAD software. Here are my contributions to the library, organized by type. You can either jump to a specific symbol, or browse them by type. Each item has all the details of where the part can be obtained from. NOTE: I AM STILL WORKING ON THE DOWNLOADS FOR THE SYMBOLS. PRESENTLY YOU CAN ONLY VIEW THEM AND NOT DOWNLOAD THEM YET. I NEED TO SAVE THEM ALL IN MULTIPLE FORMATS WHICH NEEDLESS TO SAY IS TIME CONSUMING. I WILL POST THEM AS I WORK THEM UP.
